At its core, The Mina Project pays tribute to Mina, Italy’s undisputed Queen of Pop and the voice that defined Italy in the 1960s and 1970s. We dive deep into her most soulful and electric hits and include those of musical geniuses like Patty Pravo, Rita Pavone and Ornella Vanoni.
The Mina Project captures a unique tapestry, weaving in elements of Jazz, Blues, R&B, and Soul, paying homage to the master songwriters who scored the Italian decades—from the award-winning pop of Lucio Battisti to the dramatic cinematic compositions of Ennio Morricone.​ This is the sound of Italy's musical revolution: classic Italian melody fused with global influences.
